Need a vacation? Here’s a list of the UAE’s upcoming public holidays

UAE Upcoming holidays 2023 Yalla Abu Dhabi Life

Whether you’re travelling or in the mood for a staycay, make a note of these key dates

If you’re like us, you’re probably already missing the long Eid Al Adha break. And why not, when there are so many staycay deals to be availed and summer escapes to be planned

If you’ve got your eyes firmly set on the next public holiday in the UAE, fear not, because there are still three more to look forward to!

Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday:

27 September

Following that is a two-month wait for the next UAE public holiday, which is The Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday, falling on 27 September.

And for the final flurry of public holidays in the UAE, it’s our favourite month and holiday season – December.

Commemoration Day:

1 December

First up is Commemoration Day, marked on 1 December, Friday.

National Day:

2, 3 December

Following that is National Day on Saturday, 2 December and a further holiday for National Day on Sunday, 3 December. However, these being weekend dates, we’re left with only three working day leaves to look forward to!

Given that there are so many things to do in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE, it’s time to mark your calendars and get planning!

And for any special deals, watch this space, of course.
