Are you a tennis champ?

The 14th edition of Mubadala Community Cup presented by Healthpoint starts tomorrow with more than 300 ambitious players expected to take part

Amateur tennis enthusiasts – now’s the time to shine with the Mubadala Community Cup.

If you think you can serve better than everyone and would love to pursue a career in tennis, this is your time!

The Mubadala Community Cup (MCC) presented by Healthpoint returns this weekend, providing the region’s amateur tennis enthusiasts with a platform and path to pursue their passion.

Starting 5 November, over 300 amateur players from across the UAE and wider GCC regions are expected to participate. As they navigate seven knockout competitions, there’s plenty of nail-biting moments guaranteed for spectators.

For former winner of the Cup Anurag Reddy, he was merely eight when he became part of  Mubadala Tennis in Schools (MTiS) program. Little did he know how the community initiative championed would change his life.

Noticed straight off the bat, his skills were honed till he won the Cup several times. This followed studying in the United States after receiving a tennis scholarship from McKendree University in Illinois.

Just one of the thousands of aspiring tennis stars, MCC gives them a platform to challenge each other and develop their skills.

The tennis players will take to the court across multiple knockout matches including 10s & Under (Mixed); 12s & Under (Mixed); 14s & Under (Boys & Girls); Ladies Singles; Men’s Singles, and Adult Mixed Doubles.

Winners will be recognized during the Mubadala World Tennis Championship 2022 (MWTC) with the incredible opportunity to take part in a clinic with one of the biggest names in world tennis.

This year’s MWTC, set to run from 16-18 December at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City, will feature six leading players from the men’s game and two elite females.
