One of the events even includes a robot race along the way
Get your sneakers ready – the Zayed Charity Run is going global in a big way!
The iconic race is kicking off its 2025–2026 season with six international stops, and for the first time ever, it’s heading to China, Brazil, and Hungary.
Yep, this run is officially crossing new borders (and time zones).
So, where’s it all happening? Here’s the world tour lineup:
Beijing – Sept 21 (includes a 5K robot race! Yes, robots.)
Rio de Janeiro – Oct 5 (expect beach vibes and fast feet)
Abu Dhabi – Nov 29 (just in time for UAE National Day)
Cairo – Dec 26 (holiday cardio, anyone?)
Miami – Jan 31, 2026 (run, tan, repeat)
Budapest – May 2026 (springtime sprint by the Danube)

And they’re not just running for medals; there are serious prizes too, like AED1.5 million in Abu Dhabi and EGP20 million in Cairo.
Not bad for a jog, right?
This whole global running fest is inspired by the legacy of Sheikh Zayed and is all about bringing people together to do good and get moving.
There’ll even be more chances for senior citizens to join in the fun and a special focus on keeping things active and inclusive.
The race originally started in Abu Dhabi back in 2001, went international in New York in 2005, and has been picking up pace (literally) ever since.
So, whether you’re in it for the run, the vibes, the robots, or the prize money; mark those dates. The Zayed Charity Run is going global!
