The iconic Octagon returns to Etihad Arena on 24 October
Fight fans, get ready, as the UFC has officially confirmed its next return to Abu Dhabi.
UFC 333 is set to light up Etihad Arena on Saturday, 24 October, and the event will once again headline Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, transforming Yas Island into the centre of the MMA world with a packed programme of fan experiences.
While the fight card is still under wraps, if recent years are anything to go by, fans can expect some of the biggest names in the sport to step inside the Octagon.
Abu Dhabi has become one of the UFC’s most important global destinations, hosting more than 20 events since 2010 and attracting thousands of fans from around the world.
From thrilling title fights to dramatic knockouts, the capital has built a reputation for delivering some of the sport’s most memorable moments.
That tradition looks set to continue this year and the announcement follows another action-packed run of UFC events in the emirate.
This week’s UFC Fight Night kept the momentum rolling, while last year’s Abu Dhabi Showdown Week culminated in UFC 321, headlined by heavyweight stars Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane, further cementing the city’s status as a must-visit stop on the UFC calendar.
Of course, the action extends well beyond fight night itself.
Abu Dhabi Showdown Week has become a festival for MMA fans, with opportunities to attend athlete appearances, public workouts, fan zones and exclusive experiences across Yas Island in the lead-up to the main event.
So whether you’re a lifelong UFC follower or simply looking to soak up the electric atmosphere, it’s one of the biggest sporting weeks of the year in the UAE.
Fans hoping to be among the first inside Etihad Arena are encouraged to register their interest early through Visit Abu Dhabi, giving themselves the best chance of securing tickets before general sale.
Visitors travelling from overseas will also be able to book exclusive hotel and ticket packages, making it easy to turn fight weekend into a Yas Island getaway.
For those looking to take the experience up a level, official VIP packages will also be available through UFC’s partner, On Location.
These include premium seating, access to official weigh-ins, private hospitality lounges, meet-and-greets with UFC athletes and a range of behind-the-scenes experiences.
With another blockbuster event now confirmed, one thing is certain: this October, all roads lead to Abu Dhabi, where the world’s biggest MMA promotion is once again ready to deliver a night of exciting action inside the Octagon.
