This will be a spectacular 149km finale in Abu Dhabi, from Saadiyat Island to the Breakwater
The capital is gearing up for a spectacular showdown this Sunday as the Men’s UCI World Tour Race rolls into Abu Dhabi for its grand finale, the final leg of the race.
The decisive 149km stage begins at the iconic Zayed National Museum on Saadiyat Island and builds toward a dramatic sprint finish at Abu Dhabi Breakwater, where the overall winner will be crowned.
As the concluding stage of this prestigious international cycling event, teams will be pushing hard from the outset, making this one of the most exciting days of racing on the calendar.
UAE Men’s Tour timings
Race day energy begins from late morning at the Start Village on Saadiyat Island. Hospitality opens at 10.30am, followed by the team presentation from 11.40am to 12.55pm; giving fans the chance to see the riders before they line up at 1.05pm for the official 1.15pm start.
The peloton will sweep through Yas Island, Khalifa City and back through Yas before heading toward central Abu Dhabi.
As riders cross Al Reem Island and Al Maryah Island, spectators can catch incredible cityscape views alongside world-class cycling action.
A standout moment comes as the race passes Qasr Al Hosn, one of the capital’s most historic landmarks.

The final five kilometres along the Corniche toward the Breakwater promise an explosive sprint finish.
With a wide, fast run-in designed for pure speed, the estimated finish time is around 4.30pm, when the stage winner and overall champion will be decided.
Traffic advisory
As this is the final leg of the race, significant crowds and rolling road closures are expected. Police-managed rolling roadblocks will temporarily restrict traffic along the route, particularly:
- Around Saadiyat Island from late morning
- On bridges connecting Yas, Al Reem and Al Maryah
- In the downtown area near Qasr Al Hosn
- Near the Corniche and Breakwater in the mid-to-late afternoon
Roads typically reopen shortly after the riders pass, but motorists should allow extra travel time and monitor official traffic updates, especially when travelling between the islands and central Abu Dhabi.
