When and where is the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon 2024 taking place?
Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and ADNOC have confirmed the sixth edition of the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon, scheduled for 14 December. Taking place from 6am to 1pm, head to A’l Bahar, Abu Dhabi Corniche a little earlier to complete the entry processes before starting from ADNOC Village.
What can we expect?
The event stands out among the local and international communities as it is an open event for everyone. Welcoming runners of all skill levels, the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon 2024 features distances from the Marathon, Half Marathon Relay (teams of two), 10km, 5km, and 2.5km. As part of the entertainment, participants can visit “The Race Village,” to collect their race packs and enjoy endless activations, food trucks, entertainment, socialization, and festivities.
Following the announcement by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, last year being the ‘Year of Sustainability’ meant the marathon placed an even greater emphasis on sustainability, with several initiatives focused on minimising the environmental impact of the event and reducing waste. As the Year of Sustainability continues for 2024, it is expected that this year will continue to be a greener run as well.
