The seventh edition of ‘Ride with Rixos’ will take place on 31 May in honour of World Bicycle Day, empowered by lululemon
In celebration of World Bicycle Day, recognised annually on 3 June for highlighting the bicycle as a simple, sustainable, and healthy mode of transport, Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host a special edition of ‘Ride with Rixos’ on 31 May.
Held in partnership with lululemon, the event invites community members of all ages and fitness levels to come together for a fun and meaningful ride. True to the spirit of Rixos, the event also aims to foster a sense of togetherness while honouring the power of collective action for a better, healthier future
Starting at 6.30 am, participants will gather at the front entrance of Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi for a pre-ride briefing and an energising warm-up session.
At 7 am, the 20km scenic cycling route along Abu Dhabi’s iconic Corniche will begin, giving riders the chance to keep fit and connect with the community, all while enjoying the fresh morning air and breathtaking coastal views.

Upon reaching the finish line, riders will be welcomed back to Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, where they can enjoy an array of refreshments followed by a breakfast gathering.
Helping you to cool down, a post-ride stretching session will be available at the wellness area, as well as a revitalising ice bath to reduce muscle pain, speed up recovery, and leave you feeling refreshed and energised.
‘Ride with Rixos’ is a growing community-driven initiative that promotes wellness and social impact through cycling. Since its inception on World Bicycle Day in June 2023, the event has gained remarkable momentum, welcoming nearly 800 participants across its six editions to date.
Each ride supports a meaningful cause, with past editions held in partnership with organisations such as Friends of Cancer Patients and The Pink Caravan, championing health awareness and charitable giving.
Head to Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi on 31 May and take part in the next edition of ‘Ride with Rixos’, where every pedal counts. Set against the backdrop of Abu Dhabi’s stunning Corniche, the event brings the community together in a show of support for World Bicycle Day.

More than just a ride
Launched in June 2023 on World Bicycle Day, ‘Ride with Rixos’ has grown into a powerful community-driven initiative, promoting health, connection, and social good.
Over five editions, it has united nearly 800 riders and supported causes such as Friends of Cancer Patients and The Pink Caravan.
This month’s ride proudly joins forces with ‘Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE,’ a non-profit that has granted over 7,600 wishes since its founding in 2010.
These wishes bring light into the darkest times for children battling life-threatening illnesses, restoring hope and joy to them and their families.
You don’t need to be a pro cyclist to make a difference. You just need heart; and a bike. Come ride with Rixos and be part of something beautiful.
