Alright fitness fam, it’s time to circle Saturday, 19 July on your calendar and get ready to sweat like never before.

Why? Because HYROX – yep, that massive global indoor fitness race everyone’s been talking about, is finally hitting Abu Dhabi.

And it’s about to blow the roof off ADNEC during Abu Dhabi Summer Sports.

Whether you’re a seasoned gym junkie, a weekend warrior, or just someone who’s always down for a wild fitness challenge, this is one event you do not want to miss.

So, what’s HYROX all about?

The event includes eight 1km runs, and after each one, you hit a hardcore workout station. We’re talking sled pushes, wall balls, burpee broad jumps; the kind of stuff that’ll have you questioning your life choices and feeling like a total beast when you crush it.

Anyone can join in. You can run solo (there are men’s and women’s divisions), grab a workout buddy for doubles (same gender or mixed), round up the crew for a four-person relay (because shared pain = bonding).

Or if you’re really about that elite athlete life, jump into the Pro Division and show everyone what you’re made of.

There’s even an Adaptive Division for athletes with physical disabilities, making sure this event is as inclusive as it is intense. Major props to that.

HYROX Abu Dhabi is being brought to life by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in collab with Project 206 (the legends making HYROX happen in the Middle East).

This is a full-on celebration of pushing limits, supporting each other, and finding out what you’re really capable of.

So, if your idea of a good time involves sweat, cheering crowds, and smashing personal records with hundreds of like-minded fitness lovers, you know where you need to be this summer.

AED 312. Saturday, July 19, ADNEC. For further information, visit hyrox.com
