The thrilling 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) concludes today at Etihad Arena (5 pm), where this season’s champions will be crowned. With the Abu Dhabi GP once again hosting the finale, anticipation is high for another dramatic showdown.

Can Tomac seal the title?

Eli Tomac has dominated the 2024 season, winning all three rounds so far with near-flawless performances.

Riding for CDR Yamaha Supported by Star Racing, Tomac has one hand on the trophy, but supercross is unpredictable.

A slip-up could open the door for Ken Roczen or Joey Savatgy, the only riders to deny him victories this year.

Roczen vs. Savatgy

While Tomac leads, the fight for second place remains fierce. Roczen and Savatgy have traded strong performances throughout the season, with Roczen excelling in Canada and Savatgy shining in Australia.

Both riders have much to prove as they battle for runner-up honours in Abu Dhabi.

Rick ware racing rivalries

Rick Ware Racing’s intra-team duels in WSX and SX2 are heating up. In WSX, Mitch Oldenburg holds a 13-point lead over Luke Clout, who surged with a podium in Perth.

In SX2, Coty Schock and Enzo Lopes are separated by just two points, with Fire Power Honda’s Cole Thompson ready to pounce.

McElrath’s SX2 Dominance

Shane McElrath leads the SX2 standings after a stellar season. Like Tomac, he must avoid trouble to secure the title.

With the 2025 WSX and SX2 grids still uncertain, every rider will be eager to make their mark in this electrifying finale.
