Celebrate Ramadan with live performances, interactive children’s activities, traditional crafts, and a festive Souq
PARTNER CONTENT: Abu Dhabi Mall transforms into a vibrant hub of culture, entertainment, and family fun this February and March with its annual Ramadan Village.
Running throughout the Holy Month, the mall invites residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the festive spirit with a mix of live performances, traditional experiences, children’s activities, and shopping treats.
Live performances and traditional majlis
At the heart of the Ramadan Village is a beautifully set Ramadan Majlis, located in the mall’s main atrium.
Here, you can relax with complimentary coffee and juices while soaking in the festive atmosphere.
The Majlis becomes a lively cultural hub as live music fills the air daily, featuring Oud and Qanun performances, enchanting visitors with classical melodies.
On Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays after Iftar, the entertainment steps up with Tanoura dance shows, blending hypnotic movement and colourful costumes.
These performances are open to all visitors and do not require Activity Passports, making it easy for anyone to enjoy the spirit of the season while wandering the mall.
Children’s activities
For younger visitors, Abu Dhabi Mall continues its tradition of fun and educational activities throughout Ramadan.
From Thursday to Sunday, children can take part in a variety of interactive workshops. Participation requires an Activity Passport, which can be obtained by redeeming invoices worth AED 50 from stores in the mall (excluding Abu Dhabi Coop and the Ramadan Souq).
Activities include Tic-Tac-Dates, making boxes in partnership with Studiyo Lab, which combines creativity with seasonal tradition.
Kids can also challenge their friends in board game competitions in partnership with Back to Games or dive into immersive experiences designed to inspire curiosity and fun.
Children’s activities run from 4pm to 10pm, with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm to accommodate Iftar.
These interactive offerings ensure the Ramadan Village is a welcoming space for families to spend meaningful time together.
Explore the Ramadan Souq
Adding a touch of tradition to the festivities is Abu Dhabi Mall’s Ramadan Souq, open daily from 1pm.
The Souq showcases a wide range of traditional products, seasonal items, and handmade crafts, offering you the chance to shop for unique gifts and souvenirs.
The carefully curated selection emphasises artisanal and locally inspired goods, reflecting the spirit of Ramadan while supporting small-scale retailers, making it the perfect place to find a thoughtful and authentic Eid Al Fitr gift.
Scratch and Win Promotion
To make shopping even more rewarding, the mall is running its Scratch & Win promotion until 16 March.
For every AED 200 spent, customers can redeem their invoices at the customer service desk for Scratch & Win cards. These cards offer the chance to win over 2,000 instant vouchers, ranging from AED 100 to AED 5,000.
The initiative adds an extra layer of excitement to the shopping experience, encouraging visitors to explore the mall while enjoying festive rewards. Please note that invoices from Abu Dhabi Coop and the Ramadan Souq are not eligible for this promotion.
