Members of the UAE national team were celebrating this week as they created their own piece of history by claiming 12 medals at the IMMAF championships held in Abu Dhabi recently.
Their impressive and unprecedented medal haul included four gold medals, four silver medals and four bronze medals to ensure that the home crowd in attendance at the Mubdabala Arena left in high spirits.

Other countries celebrating this week was the Ukraine as they topped the overall medal table followed by Unites States in the second place and Tajikistan in the third.
The championship saw UAE athletes Fahad Al Hammadi (Youth A/70.3 KG division), Ghala Al Hammadi (Youth B/40 KG division), Saif Alblooshi (Youth C/40 Kg division), and Zamzam Al Hammadi (Youth B/52 KG division) winning gold medals.
This latest impressive achievement will rubberstamp the UAE’S growing pedigree within MMA. Well done to all concerned!
