Planning your next travels? Abu Dhabi is getting direct flights to these two popular destinations
Abu Dhabi’s establishing itself as a popular destination for more reasons than one, including being a great travel point.
With direct flights to most popular destinations and more coming in every day, it’s the perfect haven for those looking to travel.
The latest being Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline who have now added Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, to its growing list of destinations. The flights will take off from 24 June this year, making it the perfect summer getaway option in addition to the four other spots you can fly to in the country.

Etihad will link Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport directly with Al Qassim’s Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (ELQ) with four weekly flights.
Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, direct flights from Abu Dhabi will depart for Al Qassim at 8am, and arrive at 9.10am. Return flights will depart at 10.15am and land in Abu Dhabi at 1.20pm, local time.
The other super popular destination you can now directly fly out to is Chandigarh, India via low-cost carrier IndiGo.
Connecting UAE and India further, the direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Chandigarh will begin from Wednesday 15 May. The daily flights will depart from AUH at 10.15pm and arrive at Chandigarh’s Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport at 3.30am.
