Team Yalla is speculating who they think might be on their way to perform in the capital
Drumroll please…
Okay, so it barely seems like yesterday since Max Verstappen romped home to win the Etihad Airways F1 in Abu Dhabi last November, and iconic music stars Tiesto, Shania Twain and The Foo Fighters brought the house down at the Yasalam Concerts.
But now, the time has come to start looking forward to the next installment of the most popular weekend in the capital with the announcement of the first artist coming later tonight.
Keep your eyes peeled.
The Yasalam F1 concerts are always a big hit with Abu Dhabi residents and tourists alike, where thousands of F1 fans flock to the capital to witness the final race of the year and party all weekend.
The event always welcomes some of the biggest stars in the world of music and over the years the likes of Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Def Leppard and Khalid, to name but a few, have all graced the stage at Etihad Park.

And now the scene is set to announce the first artist for December’s event and anticipation and excitement is building throughout the city.
Team Yalla is also speculating who it could be, or who they might like to see. Our digital team Jeandy and Jobelle would love to welcome rap icon Snoop Dog, or US pop star Taylor Swift.
Our Digital Editor Caroline thinks it is time to introduce some K-Pop to the weekend while our Managing Editor Derek is living in hope rather than expectation that 70s superstar band Blondie might reel in the years and arrive.
This writer would love to see the introduction of some funky house music with Purple Disco Machine or Jamie Jones.
Whoever it is, there is no doubt it will drum up the interest of music fans within the region. Who do you think it could be?
