Who doesn’t love a good escape room experience? And now, there’s one for nature lovers!
As part of World Environment Day, Escape Climate Change: Mangrove Edition was launched to some happy and excited folks.
Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) has partnered with Emirates Nature-WWF and Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi to launch the nature-themed escape room. Part of the COP28 Youth Climate and Nature series, the activation can currently be found at Al Mamoura.
Set in a virtual mangrove forest during adverse weather conditions, embark on a meaningful and thrilling adventure to escape the impact of climate change and safeguard our natural heritage, by relying on the restorative powers of mangroves.

It’s the perfect opportunity to have some fun with friends and family, while also physically experiencing and learning the science behind climate adaptation. By focusing on mangrove restoration and its vital role, the experience highlights the potential of nature-based solutions in tackling climate challenges.
Post the adrenaline, you can take your actions one step further and sign up to volunteer for nature-based activities, and even become citizen scientists to tackle impactful conservation work via the Sahim and Leaders of Change movements.
While currently kicking off at Al Mamoura, Abu Dhabi, the Escape Room caravan will continue its tour of the nation throughout the Year of Sustainability.
