Fly from Dubai to Manila for just AED 27

Budget airline Cebu Pacific celebrates 27th anniversary with heavily discounted seat prices.

Looking for a quick adventure somewhere interesting but don’t have the budget? You’re in luck as one of the best budget destinations out there just got even cheaper, with airline prices going for as low as AED 27.

Yes, you read that right. Budget airline Cebu Pacific is offering seats on its Dubai-Manila route for only USD 7 (AED 27) to celebrate the company’s 27th anniversary this month.

The catch: the price is only for a one-way base fare and is exclusive of fees and surcharges. But even with all the add-ons, it’s still a great deal for travellers on a tight budget.

The promo rates cover tickets booked from 6 March until 10 March. Travel period is from 1 April to 30 September. Regular ticket rates on the same route from the airline could cost up to AED 1,800.

A number of budget airlines have been recently offering heavily discounted rates and more travel options to UAE travellers, including budget flights from Abu Dhabi to Baghdad and Erbil in Iraq, as well as new destinations from the UAE capital to Baku (Azerbaijan), Muscat (Oman), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Sohag (Egypt), Odessa (Ukraine) and Kutaisi (Georgia).

For adventure seekers who want to travel outside Manila, the airline is also offering promo rates for as low as AED 13 for domestic flights to some of the Philippines’ most popular destinations, including Boracay, Siargao, Cebu, Davao, Cagayan De Oro, and General Santos.

“Cebu Pacific has come a long way since we flew our first flight 27 years ago,” said Carmina Romero, Cebu Pacific Director for Corporate Communications. “What better way to celebrate this milestone than by giving back to the passengers to whom we owe our success.”

Cebu Pacific said passengers with existing Travel Funds may use these to pay for flights and other add-ons. The company also announced that it is set to restore 100 percent of its pre-Covid network and capacity starting this month. The airline currently flies to 34 domestic and 25 international destinations, spanning Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
