The festival which had a brief stoppage in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will see the world’s best teams descend on the city, on National Day weekend (2 to 4 December), for a rugby festival like no other.
Not only will visitors enjoy high octane action on the pitch from rugby union’s shortened form but there will be tons of entertainment off the paddock as well with a major act performing on the Frequency on 8 Stage (soon to be revealed) and cover bands on Rugby Rock.
Still not tempted to get into the scrum for tickets?
Perhaps some willow cracking cork will turn your head as the first Cricket 7s tournament will also be running parallel to the rugby at the Sevens Stadium.
Some 48 cricket teams will be walking out to the crease in a simplified version of the sport.
