Jubail Island is shaping the future of family-focused, community-led life in Abu Dhabi
PARTNER CONTENT: Jubail Island is rapidly evolving into one of Abu Dhabi’s most compelling lifestyle destinations, offering a harmonious blend of nature, community living, and world-class amenities
Framed by protected mangroves and open waterways, the island provides a setting that feels both energising and serene, making it a place where residents and visitors don’t just stay, they truly settle in.
Exciting New Culinary Experiences
The island’s culinary scene is growing with the arrival of Souk Al Jubail, which will host a mix of international cuisine, casual cafés, and relaxed eateries.
Among the first to open is Artigiano by Pizza Di Rocco, bringing authentic Italian flavours with handmade pastas, fresh sauces, and carefully crafted pizzas.
“Artigiano perfectly captures the spirit of Jubail Island; relaxed, community-focused, and full of life,” says Peter Samaha, Founder of Pizza Di Rocco.
Souk Al Jubail promises to become a social hub for breakfasts, lunches, and evening gatherings, combining curated F&B experiences with a sense of community for residents and visitors alike.
World-Class Early Years Learning
Families are central to Jubail Island’s vision. The upcoming Redwood Center of Excellence (COE) will provide premium early years education for children aged 45 days to six years, blending exploration, creativity, and nature-based learning.
“Jubail Island embodies everything we value; serenity, nature, and a strong sense of community,” says Tamara Estwani, Director of Redwood COE.
Children will engage with mangroves, hands-on activities in the Atelier and Tool Room, and creative play that fosters curiosity, problem-solving, and friendship.
The campus features Abu Dhabi’s largest outdoor learning space, a botanical garden, specialist classrooms, and purpose-built environments that stimulate growth and creativity. Redwood COE opens in early 2026, reinforcing Jubail Island as a family-first destination.
Sustainability at the Heart

Eco-conscious living is central to the island’s ethos, attracting residents and entrepreneurs committed to green values. Jen, a mother and lawyer, is launching ME+MER, a sustainable children’s swimwear brand.
“Jubail Island’s values reflect my own; sustainability, family, and quality,” she says. “Here, I can grow my business while my kids enjoy safe, inspiring, and green surroundings.”
Recreational Amenities

Jubail Island is quickly becoming a hub for active, outdoor living. The Padel Pro Signature Club, opening in early 2026, will feature state-of-the-art courts and training programs, alongside basketball, football, and tennis facilities.
The nearby Jubail Island Mangrove Park offers kayaking and other recreational activities, while extensive cycling paths and walking trails wind through lush greenery for morning runs or evening strolls.
Dedicated yoga and wellness areas allow residents to recharge and connect with nature.
Sports enthusiasts like Joni appreciate the open spaces for running, often accompanied by her dog Milo, while new residents like Laura, who moved from the UK with her family, value the safe, family-friendly atmosphere where children can ride bikes freely.
Looking Forward
Residents and visitors can look forward to future amenities such as The Yacht Club, Marsa Al Jubail, and Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Art, alongside essentials like Spinneys and a growing retail scene.
Combined with parks, waterfront promenades, wellness facilities, and cultural spaces, Jubail Island creates a dynamic, family-friendly community where dining, shopping, leisure, and socialising seamlessly intersect.
It’s a neighbourhood defined as much by its people as by its surroundings.
