The new academy to bolster skills for the healthcare sector

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health (DoH), Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), and Core42 team up to introduce the Global AI Healthcare Academy.

The collaboration aims to bolster the AI skills of healthcare professionals, positioning Abu Dhabi at the forefront of technology-driven healthcare systems.

The initiative extends beyond education to encompass research and innovation, fostering public-private partnerships for sustainable growth.

Dr Noura Al Ghaithi, DoH Undersecretary, stresses the importance of AI in transforming healthcare, while Sultan Al Hajji, VP of Public Affairs at MBZUAI, highlights the potential of AI in life-saving applications.

The Academy will offer tailored courses and training sessions to upskill the workforce, driving collaboration and knowledge exchange.

This partnership emerges from the Health Leaders Forum during the Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week, showcasing Abu Dhabi’s commitment to advancing healthcare through innovation and collaboration.
