What’s better than a Tomatini? Week-long celebrations because it’s Tomatini Week at La Petite Maison (LPM) in Abu Dhabi!
The renowned French Riviera-inspired restaurant group will celebrate its inaugural World Tomatini Day with week-long celebrations in honour of the beloved signature savoury mixed drink, the Tomatini.
A global emblem of luxury lifestyle and emanating the essence of LPM’s French Riviera roots, the occasion will be marked across all 10 of the restaurant’s locations worldwide for the first time in 2024.
The Tomatini is made exclusively with Ketel One, featuring a delicate combination of freshly muddled Campari Tomatoes, a pinch of salt and pepper, a three-year-old white balsamic vinegar, and a dash of simple syrup for balance, garnished with a salt and pepper dipped cherry tomato and a theatrical crack of fresh black pepper from LPM’s signature giant pepper mill.
The Tomatini is more than a mixed drink – it’s the essence of LPM in a martini glass and a symbol of the laid-back glamour of the French Riviera.
Kicking off Tomatini Week on 12 November, guests dining at LPM during Tomatini Week can expect to be fully immersed in the celebrations, with each guest dining on 12 November receiving a complimentary Tomatini or TomatiNO upon arrival.
The festivities will continue with a special Business Lunch menu available on weekday afternoons, featuring dishes that highlight the tomato in honour of the drink.
Cinq à Sept will also pay homage with a curated mixed drinks menu. On Sunday, 17 October, LPM’s La Vie En Rosé brunch will become a Tomatini affair where, for the only time of the year, Tomatinis are included as part of the beverage list. As if it weren’t enough, there will also be a dedicated Tomatini market stall on the terrace with a bartender preparing the tomato cocktail all afternoon.
