Award-winning chef José Pizarro will be working with local ingredients as he takes his ‘beloved Spanish flavours’ to a multicultural global audience in Abu Dhabi.

From tapas and paella to succulent meats and seafood, the “Godfather of Spanish cuisine” promises to bring the very best of Spanish flavours to the UAE capital with the widely anticipated opening of José by Pizarro on 17 March at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.
The 36-cover restaurant is a “dream come true” for award-winning chef, restaurateur, and author José Pizarro, who will be working with local ingredients, including some already well known in Spanish cuisine, as he takes his “beloved Spanish flavours” to Abu Dhabi’s multicultural global audience.
“I have always wanted to open a restaurant outside Europe, and launching José by Pizarro really is a dream come true,” the celebrated chef said.

Fans of Pizarro’s acclaimed José Tapas Bar Bermondsey in London will find the familiar cosy and intimate vibe at the new venue.
Conrad’s flagship hotel in the UAE offers spectacular views of Abu Dhabi and the Arabian Gulf in what is called a ‘modern architectural marvel’, complementing the vibrancy of Spanish cuisine.
The restaurant offers a curated selection of the renowned chef’s most popular dishes, where a fabulous feast could start with some delicious plates of spicy chicken croquetas, pawn fritters, and potato tortilla, before moving to Spanish specialities such as Spanish red tuna tartare, traditional lamb meatballs, and free-range chicken paella.
There is also a wide selection of decadent treats that include chocolate pots with salt and olive oil, homemade Spanish almond tart figs and custard, and a cheese selection served with fruits and chutneys.
