The venue kicks off the new year with an intimate gastronomic exchange
If your New Year’s resolutions include eating exceptionally well (solid plan), Rosewood Abu Dhabi has just delivered the ultimate excuse.
This January, the luxury hotel is welcoming two-MICHELIN-starred Tuscan chef Matteo Temperini for an intimate, culinary takeover that promises serious flavour, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a whole lot of Italian soul.
Flying in from Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, where he leads the celebrated Campo del Drago to MICHELIN glory, Chef Matteo joins forces with Executive Chef Liborio Colonna for a refined gastronomic exchange that’s all about provenance, passion, and beautifully simple cooking done right.
Think Tuscany’s rolling hills, translated onto plates in Abu Dhabi; the experience unfolds across one elegant evening with its own distinct vibe.

On Saturday, 24 January, The Rosewood Terrace also hosts an exclusive four-hands, six-course dinner, where Italian heritage meets contemporary flair.
Highlights include Gambero Rosso with caviar and Sorrento lemon, Carnaroli risotto with ‘Dolce Forte’ duck, rabbit and Swiss chard agnolotti finished with black truffle, and a beautifully executed turbot showcasing seasonal produce.
Dessert lovers are in for a treat, with a refreshing green apple and dill mousse followed by a playful espresso finale.
This is a celebration of shared values, storytelling, and the joy of slowing down over great food. Two chefs, one unforgettable taste of Tuscany, with no passport required.
