La Petite Maison unveils new bar concept Déjà Vu

The art of drink meets the elegance of editorial in a stunning tribute to the French Riviera’s golden age

The globally celebrated restaurant group synonymous with sun-soaked sophistication and Riviera-inspired refinement La Petite Maison introduces its most ambitious bar concept to date: Déjà Vu.

This is an evocative, boundary-breaking mixed drinks menu designed as a vintage French editorial magazine.

Crafted as a love letter to the French Riviera’s luminous heyday, spanning the cinematic 50s to the opulent 90s, Déjà Vu invites guests to flip through pages that blur the lines between memory and imagination, nostalgia and novelty.

Each mixed drink is presented as a standalone editorial feature, narrating the golden stories that defined la Côte d’Azur as the world’s playground of style, sex appeal, and sun-drenched elegance.

With Déjà Vu, LPM reinvents the mixed drinks menu into a living piece of editorial art, where each drink is more than a mix.

From Brigitte Bardot’s bikini moment at Cannes to Graham Hill’s high-octane Monaco victories, the mixed drinks reflect cultural milestones reimagined as liquid storytelling.

Expect not just drinks, but fully immersive experiences: garnishes become fashion statements, glassware transforms into perfume bottles, and music arrives on vintage Walkmans.

The experience begins the moment you open the magazine. Flip through hand-illustrated pages echoing vintage French glossies, complete with horoscopes, crosswords, and odes to Riviera icons.

Every element is drenched in the elegant irreverence of the South of France; sun, sensuality, and a sparkle of laissez-faire glamour.

True to LPM’s inclusive spirit, each of the 10 mixed drinks is mirrored in a non-alcoholic version, crafted with equal finesse and flair.

This pioneering ‘mirrored menu’ approach reflects the rise of mindful drinking, without compromising on complexity or experience.

Among the stars of the new collection:

Birkin – A radiant reinterpretation of the Americano, infused with Charentais melon, Bacardi Cuatro Añejo, and a whisper of vermouth, crowned with a custom silk scarf tied delicately around the glass stem; a nod to the legendary Hermes bag that began as a conversation in the clouds.

Douliou Douliou – An indulgent Riviera remix of the Piña Colada, this cocktail blends tropical fruits with Rémy Martin VSOP and Telmont Champagne, arriving alongside a vintage Walkman playing Douliou Douliou St Tropez—an auditory portal to St Tropez summers past.

Soleil – A radiant G&T crafted with LPM’s own gin in collaboration with 44°N Gin, kissed with mandarin and bergamot.

Served in a bespoke soda bottle with a sample of Fragonard’s iconic Soleil fragrance, this is scent, sight, and taste in symphonic harmony.

Déjà Vu marks a bold new chapter in LPM’s award-winning bar programme, a masterstroke in experiential mixology that redefines what it means to sip in style.

LPM Abu Dhabi is the first to unveil the Déjà Vu experience, with other global locations joining the storybook in Autumn 2025.
