The capital will welcome world-class chefs and signature dining sessions

The Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants is heading to the UAE capital for 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a foodie extravaganza.

The fifth edition of this prestigious awards ceremony, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, will land in the capital on 3 February 2026, celebrating the region’s top chefs and restaurants, from rising stars to legendary names.

Since its launch four years ago, the awards have provided a platform to recognise the region’s leading restaurants and chefs, bringing international visibility to the Middle East and North Africa’s dining landscape.

A number of special awards announcements will precede the live programme, such as the Champions of Change Award, the Art of Hospitality Award and the American Express One To Watch Award.

But it’s not just about the awards. #50BestTalks is also back, giving foodies the chance to hear from some of the most creative culinary minds in the region.

Flavours of 50 Best returns too, a ticketed brunch where the public can sample dishes from some of the world’s best chefs.

Abu Dhabi’s restaurants are getting in on the action too, hosting visiting chefs in 50 Best Signature Sessions.

These intimate, ticketed experiences let diners watch, learn, and taste their way through the region’s most exciting culinary talent.

This is your chance to experience the best of the Middle East & North Africa’s dining scene, all in one city.

Abu Dhabi made a strong showing in the MENA 50 Best Restaurants 2025, with three local favourites earning spots on the prestigious list.

Marmellata Bakery topped the capital’s entries, landing 29th. La Petite Maison Abu Dhabi secured 38th place and Niri rounded out Abu Dhabi’s entries at 50th.

William Drew, Director of Content for 50 Best, comments: “Marking the fifth edition of MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants is an important milestone.

“Over the past four years, the awards have spotlighted remarkable restaurants and shone a light on diverse food traditions from across the region, while also recognising emerging talent alongside established names.”

Seats for next year’s event will be limited, so get ready to book your spot when the full line-up drops.

Stay tuned for updates, and make sure your taste buds are ready for the ride!
