Known for its exclusive travelling social club, Prada Mode has become a prestigious destination for those who want to experience the intersection of contemporary culture and Italian luxury.

Now, Abu Dhabi joins an esteemed list of cities, Miami and London, lucky enough to host this one-of-a-kind event.

What to expect: A celebration of duality

The Prada Mode pop-up is a collaboration with Theaster Gates, a renowned multidisciplinary artist who has been at the helm of Prada Mode’s artistic vision since its debut.

Gates, along with UAE-based art advisor Myrna Ayad curating the programming, ensures that this event is unlike any other, blending fashion with cultural exploration.

The pop-up’s space is a striking example of minimalist design, meant to challenge the fast-paced, digital world we live in today.

Gates has crafted an environment that serves as a “manifestation of duality,” drawing inspiration from historic craft, sacred immediacy, and elegant austerity.

It’s a space that urges reflection, inviting guests to step away from the digital age and immerse themselves in a world where craftsmanship and authenticity reign.

Immersive programming: Voices of the region

While fashion is the foundation, Prada Mode in Abu Dhabi is much more than just an exhibition. The event showcases music, workshops, and talks that celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of the region.

The programming places a spotlight on local and regional talent, with a particular focus on the traditions, creativity, and success of Arab women; an empowering and much-needed narrative.

From live performances to thought-provoking discussions, Prada Mode offers a platform for voices that may not always be heard in the global conversation.

Each piece of the programming is carefully designed to engage and inspire, offering an experience that extends far beyond the world of fashion.

Savour the flavours of the UAE

No immersive experience would be complete without a nod to the region’s culinary excellence, and Prada Mode delivers on that front with a menu crafted by the renowned female chef, Salam Dakkak.

Known for her culinary ventures, including the beloved Bait Maryam and the newly opened Sufret Maryam, Dakkak will be offering a diverse and rich menu that celebrates the flavors of the UAE.

Expect to indulge in a journey of taste that reflects the region’s heritage and modern creativity, expertly crafted to pair with the event’s vibrant atmosphere.
