The UAE capital’s favourite splash point, Yas Waterworld is getting a full-fledged makeover!
Love going to Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi? Who wouldn’t, with stunning Ladies’ Day offers and some thrilling rides to its credit?
And now, they’re taking things to the next level with a massive expansion! That’s right, Yas Waterworld is getting 18 new rides and attractions, in addition to their existing 45 rides and experiences.
Overseen by Miral Group, the 16,900 square meters expansion is expected to be ready by 2025, increasing the waterpark’s visitor capacity by 20 per cent.
And if that wasn’t enough, they’re smashing some world records along the way.

In addition to 3.3km of slide sections, including the UAE’s highest slide. In a first for the GCC region, Yas Waterworld will also see an amusement ride in a water park that is integrated within a waterslide complex.
The new expansion plans wouldn’t be complete without keeping the little ones in mind, of course. Buckle up for the cutest smaller-scaled versions of Yas Waterworld’s most iconic rides for the ultimate experience.
For adrenaline lovers, there will be a high-thrill boat ride, racing and tube slides, and even a duelling master blaster. The entire family can get on raft rides as well for a low-key splashtastic time.
Add to the works a swim-up bar for the adults, and we can’t wait for 2025 already!
