The Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi has an interesting concert lined up for you
Following rigorous auditions and the success of the previous performances, the Youth Orchestra and the Youth Choir are coming back!
Titled ‘Concert for Children: Timeless Film Favourites’, the Cultural Foundation Auditorium is about to come alive with the sounds of nostalgia.
The talented young group are all set to present an intriguing program with the most famous tunes of our childhood. Mark 22 September on your calendars and treat the entire family to movie soundtracks including Disney’s Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast but also The Flintstones and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Starting 7pm, the auditorium is going to come alive with enchanting music guaranteed to impress all generations.
The Youth Orchestra and Choir are organized in collaboration between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and the International Music Institute – one of the oldest music institutes in the country, founded in 1994 – and it includes some of the most talented music students in Abu Dhabi.
Previously, the Youth Orchestra and Choir performed the National Anthem during the NBA GAMES 2022 at Etihad Arena which was streamed worldwide, a video for the UAE National Day and several concerts in the Theater of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation with a wide variety of program including classical music written by Mozart, Verdi, Fauré, Grieg and many more.
