Gather your loved ones and beat the heat with these super-cool events
With the weather hopefully cooling down, there are two super exciting events returning to the UAE capital at Umm Al Emarat Park.
First of course is the iconic and community favourite ‘Cinema in the Park’!
The beloved outdoor movie experience is all set to return for the whole family or groups of friends to enjoy. Starting 6 October 2023 and running all the way until 27 April 2024, the movie nights are scheduled at 6pm and 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Last year, the screenings included everything from childhood favourites like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to The Lion King – so don’t miss out.
As for Ramadan, the timings will be after Iftar, starting at 7pm and then 9pm.
If that wasn’t enough good news, Umm Al Emarat Park’s popular Park Market is making a comeback too! Featuring over 40 vendors selling food, artisanal goods and more, this market is the perfect way to welcome outdoor winter vibes.

Retail therapy aside, visitors can enjoy art exhibitions, family-friendly entertainment, fitness and wellness classes and so much more! In between the movies, enjoy some wholesome entertainment and delicious food from 4pm to 10pm every weekend until 30 March, 2024.
