And now as the summer heat begins its retreat, Sheikha Fatima Park is set to roll out a number of brilliant activities for everybody to enjoy.
BIKES & BITES
Bike power is under the spotlight on 12 November when park-goers will witness the glorious sight of motorcycles, bikes and scooters as they roar in to form a magnificent display at various areas around the park.
Not only will there be an awe-inspiring display of these stylish two-wheelers, but also a ‘Special Bike Reveal’ on the day, and we are not giving any secrets away here. You will need to attend the event and find out yourself.
You can work up an appetite walking around the park, but fear not, as the event title suggests, there will be plenty to tuck into with urban food stalls being set up, not to mention the usual array of restaurants and cafes dotted around the park.
There will even be a chance of some retail therapy as you browse pop-up stalls selling wares such as crafts and handmade items. With lots of music and fabulous live performances too, you just know that Bikes and Bites is going have the best food and chill vibes to create a festival mood ideal for the perfect family weekend.
At 5pm the event kicks off with a bang, with a DJ opening set. 6.30pm–7.30pm there will be live performance, 8pm a special Bike Reveal and at 8.30pm–9.30pm live Rock Band will play out. Now that is something worth biking to!
FOR THE LOVE OF THE NATION
Sheikha Fatima Park will be all decked out in red, green and white when the nation celebrates UAE National Day on 2 December. Promising a day of patriotic fun for all, explore Emirati cuisine at the traditional food stalls and experience the very roots of the UAE when the best -known traditional performance in the Emirates, Al-Ayyala, sway to the beat of the drums.
There will be more fun aplenty for the little and big ones alike too, with kids’ entertainers, mascots, face painters and traditional henna artists. Horse lovers expect a treat as Al Maghaweer gallops into the park, along with those ships of the desert, camels, and even the UAE’s national bird, falcons, making an appearance.
GOAL!
With FIFA 2022 about to kick-off, Sheikha Fatima Park has pulled out all the stops to create crowd-cheering World Cup Fan Zones. From 21 November to 18 December, cheer on your favourite team colours in a dedicated space where bites and entertainment are readily available. It is the perfect spot to experience the excitement of the World Cup 2022.

CINEMA & POPCORN
Cooler temps can only mean one thing – the return of alfresco movies in the park. Head to Sheikha Fatima Park every weekend for pop-up outdoor screenings.
