Abu Dhabi Comedy Season returns this October for its biggest edition yet, with another incredible line-up of global comedy stars ready to take over Etihad Arena.
Following two years of sold-out performances, expect more unforgettable nights packed with razor-sharp wit, hilarious stories and non-stop entertainment.
Already confirmed are Mo Amer and Maz Jobrani, who join previously announced stars Morgan Jay and Russell Peters, with more international acts still to be revealed.
Organised by Live Nation Middle East, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the season once again brings together a diverse line-up of world-class comedians for a series of headline performances.

Morgan Jay
11 October, Etihad Arena
Los Angeles-based comedian, musician and performer Morgan Jay has carved out a unique style by blending razor-sharp crowd work, improvised comedy and live music into an unforgettable interactive show.
He first gained widespread attention as a semi-finalist on NBC’s Bring the Funny before building a huge international following through viral social media clips featuring his trademark use of auto-tuned audience participation.
His smooth vocals, quick wit and audience-driven performances have helped him sell out shows around the world. Tickets are already on sale.
Russell Peters
25 October, Etihad Arena
Named one of Rolling Stone’s ‘50 Best Comics of All Time’, Russell Peters became a global comedy phenomenon following his breakout Comedy Now! special.
He went on to become the first comedian to sell out major venues including Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, London’s O2 Arena and New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Renowned for his high-energy performances, observational humour and brilliant crowd interaction, Peters draws on multicultural experiences to deliver comedy that is both sharp and relatable. Tickets are already on sale.
Mo Amer
6 November, Etihad Arena
Born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents, Mo Amer has become one of comedy’s most distinctive voices, using humour to explore identity, belonging and the refugee experience.
His acclaimed Netflix series Mo, inspired by his own life as a Palestinian refugee living in Texas, won a Peabody Award and was recognised by both The New York Times and New York Magazine as one of the best shows of 2022.
Combining heartfelt storytelling with fearless honesty and quick-fire wit, Amer delivers comedy that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Maz Jobrani
7 November, Etihad Arena
Iranian-American comedian Maz Jobrani has built an international career by turning cultural differences, immigrant experiences and family life into laugh-out-loud comedy.
Drawing inspiration from both his Iranian heritage and American upbringing, he tackles stereotypes, family expectations and life between two cultures with warmth, intelligence and plenty of humour.
A trailblazer for Middle Eastern representation in entertainment, Jobrani continues to prove that comedy has the power to bring people together.
Aries Spears and Anubhav Singh Bassi
21 November, Etihad Arena, Yas Island
A night of big laughs arrives on 21 November as comedians Aries Spears and Anubhav Singh Bassi bring their stand-up styles to Abu Dhabi. You can expect sharp observations, plenty of stories and two very different comedy styles sharing the same stage. Whether you know Spears from his legendary impressions and sketch comedy or Bassi from his hugely popular storytelling and viral stand-up clips, this is one for comedy fans. Head to Etihad Arena on 21 November for an evening of laughs, live entertainment and plenty of jokes to keep you entertained.
Paul Smith

If you like your comedy quick, cheeky and unpredictable, Paul Smith should be on your radar. The British stand-up favourite is heading to Etihad Arena for Abu Dhabi Comedy Season, bringing his trademark crowd work, quick comebacks and relaxed storytelling to the stage. A regular headline act at Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club, Smith has built a huge online following thanks to his hilarious, spontaneous exchanges with audience members. His clips have racked up millions of views, and now Abu Dhabi audiences can see his famously unpredictable style live. Expect plenty of laughs and audience banter.
Whitney Cummings
31 January 2027, Etihad Arena, Yas Island
American comedian Whitney Cummings is heading to Abu Dhabi for a special early show as part of Abu Dhabi Comedy Season. Known for her sharp humour, candid storytelling and hilarious takes on everyday life, Cummings has built a career across stand-up, TV, film and podcasting. She’s also the creator of 2 Broke Girls and Whitney, and hosts the popular Good For You podcast. Catch her live at Etihad Arena on 31 January, before Paul Smith takes to the same stage later that evening.
