A new season of Emirati heritage, global culture and unforgettable celebrations is coming to Abu Dhabi
The Sheikh Zayed Festival 2026/2027 returns to Abu Dhabi on 30 October, running for 136 days until March 14, 2027.
The season will bring together Emirati heritage, international cultures, entertainment, arts and sport across the festival grounds.
Traditional experiences will take centre stage, from crafts and performing arts to camel racing, falconry and maritime heritage.
International pavilions will add a global dimension, bringing cultures and experiences from around the world to the UAE.
The programme will also feature family activities, interactive experiences, community celebrations and live entertainment.
Major moments on the calendar include Eid Al Etihad, New Year and Ramadan, alongside performances from leading Arab and Gulf artists.
Fireworks, drone displays and laser shows will return, including spectacular productions that have previously achieved Guinness World Records.
With dedicated experiences for children and young people, the festival continues to connect Emirati traditions with the wider world.
It all adds up to a packed 136-day calendar at one of Abu Dhabi’s biggest annual cultural gatherings.
