Lace up for a run with a wild purpose
Miral is bringing Run for Impact: Saving the Arabian Sand Cat to Yas Bay Waterfront on Sunday, 25 October 2026.
The community race combines an active morning out with support for Arabian Sand Cat research and conservation in Abu Dhabi.
Participants can choose between 3km, 5km and 10km routes, making the event open to a wide range of ages and fitness levels.
The 10km starts at 6:45am, followed by the 5km at 7am and 3km at 7:15am.
From 6am to 10am, Al Ain Zoo will host family-friendly activities including themed face painting, photo opportunities and wildlife trivia.
Each AED 50 registration fee goes towards Arabian Sand Cat conservation initiatives through IMPACT by Miral.
The species is listed as endangered on the Abu Dhabi Red List of Species, adding a conservation focus to the morning.
There will also be exclusive event merchandise and an awards ceremony at 9am, with winners receiving theme park tickets.
