An international wrestling showcase is coming to Abu Dhabi this November
Real American Freestyle (RAF) is coming to Abu Dhabi, with its Middle East debut set for 14 November at Etihad Arena.
The event launches a new five-year partnership between RAF, DCT Abu Dhabi and the UAE Wrestling Federation.
Global combat sports star Khamzat Chimaev will headline the inaugural Abu Dhabi event, with his opponent still to be announced.
Olympic and world champions including Arman Tsarukyan, Henry Cejudo, Jordan Burroughs, Kyle Snyder and Abdulrashid Sadulaev are also set to compete.
Matchups across the card will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The Abu Dhabi event marks RAF’s third international showcase in its first year, following events in Tbilisi and Moscow.
The partnership gives RAF a recurring presence in Abu Dhabi as the league expands its international wrestling calendar.
