Set against the towering Moreeb Dune in the heart of the Liwa Desert, the Liwa International Festival is where adrenaline, culture and entertainment come together.
Expect high-octane dune drag racing, drifting, UTV competitions and the crowd-favourite Monster Jam show, alongside camel racing, falconry displays, traditional Emirati crafts and authentic Bedouin experiences.
Visitors can also enjoy live concerts, carnival rides, open-air cinema, Liwa Village and an impressive selection of food and drinks that ranges from international street eats to traditional Arabic coffee and local favourites.
Al Dhafra Region, where this family-friendly festival, is around a two to three hour drive from Abu Dhabi city.
Entry to the main grounds is free, while selected experiences, including concerts, motor sport grandstands and carnival attractions that requires separate tickets.
