A World-Class Collaboration: Arabic Opera ‘Antar & Abla’

This open-air production reimagines the legendary Bedouin love story of Antar, the warrior-poet, and his beloved Abla

Abu Dhabi is set to host the Arabic opera Antar & Abla from 9 to 14 December 2025, at the International Tennis Centre in Zayed Sports City.

The opera blends classical vocal techniques with immersive technology, offering a fusion of heritage and innovation.

Produced by Bidaya in collaboration with Opera Lebanon, the performance has been honored with the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Arabic Language in Cultural Excellence.
