A week-long series of events aimed at shaping the future of mobility in Abu Dhabi will take place in the capital from 24 April.
The Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi (DMT) is gearing up to launch the inaugural Abu Dhabi Mobility Week next week.
This event promises a week-long series of announcements, forums, and showcases, marking a significant milestone in shaping the future of mobility in the region.
Kicking off the week, the DMT will unveil a comprehensive mobility strategy for the emirate, covering land transport, aviation, maritime activities, and licensing services.
This strategic framework reflects the DMT’s dedication to innovation and its vision for progressive transformation in transportation.
A highlight of the week is DRIFTx, a leadership and exhibition platform organized in collaboration with the Smart and Autonomous Vehicles Industry (SAVI) Cluster and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
DRIFTx will bring together international leaders and innovators to discuss smart, autonomous, and sustainable mobility solutions across various domains.

The Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) will also debut its autonomous races at Yas Marina Circuit, featuring teams from around the globe competing with driverless Dallara Super Formula SF23 open-wheel cars.

Closing the week, the Mobility Live ME conference will convene industry professionals, technology experts, and enthusiasts at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) to explore sustainable mobility solutions and foster collaboration.
Beyond the main events, Abu Dhabi Mobility Week will feature a range of activations aimed at engaging the community and inspiring the next generation of innovators in mobility.
From safety initiatives to health and fitness events, research collaborations, and activities in schools, the week aims to showcase Abu Dhabi’s commitment to shaping a sustainable and transformative future in mobility.
