Arab traditions and flamenco unite in a powerful celebration of culture and connection
Following its sold-out world premier in Spain, Algarabía arrives in Abu Dhabi for its Arab world premiere this November.
Co-produced by Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF), Museo Universidad de Navarra and Khawla Art & Culture, the newly commissioned production explores the connections between Arab culture and flamenco.
Music, dance and poetry come together in a contemporary performance inspired by centuries of shared artistic traditions.
The programme features works by Ihab Darwish, Manuel de Falla, Manuel Masaedo and Josema García Hormigo, alongside poetry by Nizar Qabbani, Ibn Zamrak and Miguel Hernández.
Presented at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Algarabía offers a moving celebration of dialogue, heritage and artistic exchange through one unforgettable evening of live performance.
