If you are looking for something interesting to do that will stimulate your creative side then Design and Dine events are just the perfect tonic for you!
Taking place at multiple venues across Abu Dhabi and beyond, this ever increasing in popularity event combines a night of free-flowing art with free-flowing bubbly in an enjoyable and charming environment.
The conception for the idea for Design and Dine was created by Irish artist Gemma Gallagher who combines her passion for painting and love of dining and fun events into a brand new creative experience.

Her aim was to create an event where guests could discover their creative abilities and learn to make art in a fun, sociable environment. What started as a small workshop has now grown to become the UAE’s largest interactive, creative experience with consistent sell-out events and over 7000 guests having attended so far.
Guests find themselves immersed in a unique experience of creativity, delectable dining, feel-good music and social engagement. Every month Gemma and her team provide new artwork themes with events taking place in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Don’t have a painting bone in your body? You don’t have to be a Picasso, you can instead Pic-at-the wonderful array of brunch food items which are also on offer at delightful food stations available at the event.
Striving to create a completely inclusive event in which even complete beginners can learn step-by-step to create their own masterpiece guests also enjoy delicious food and drinks in some amazing venues.
No experience is necessary to attend Design and Dine who welcome guests of all levels and guide you through every step of creating your painting while you eat, drink and enjoy! All the materials are provided – just bring yourself and be ready to have fun!
A very important key element which has been added to their line-up is a focus on mental health and many of their latest events are designed to help guests check in with themselves. Heading into the second half of 2023 now is the ideal time to reflect on how we’re feeling and how the year has been so far.

This will take place on Sunday 24 September and provides guests with a chance to attend a Mindful Painting Brunch, a Self-Development Workshop, Morning Yoga and Meditation and Mindful Journaling Workshop
All of the workshops included are suitable for complete beginners and require no previous experience! Join them on a journey of mindfulness, creativity and self-development while meeting like-minded people!
For those who can’t wait this long Design and Dine are teaming up with Pinot and Pages to produce a special brunch extravaganza which will be taking place on Friday 25 August at Tavolino Italian Restaurant in Aloft Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
