The fourth edition of the Unified Robotics League, organised by Special Olympics UAE, concluded with its largest-ever finals at Space42 Arena, Abu Dhabi; a landmark moment for inclusive STEM education in the country.
Over 1,600 students participated in the 2025 League, with 1,200 reaching the finals, marking a 109 per cent increase from last year’s edition.
A total of 202 teams from 165 schools competed in the qualifiers held across the UAE.
The League, supported by ADNOC as a strategic partner, offers a platform for students of determination and their peers to collaborate on robotics and coding challenges.

Unified teams, made up of at least 50% students of determination, competed in two age categories (8–11 and 12+), solving tasks in programming, AI, and robotics; reflecting the League’s focus on inclusion, teamwork, and future-ready skills.
The Ministry of Education ensured strong representation from its schools, with over 700 students and 267 teachers participating. Twenty-eight Ministry teams reached the finals.
To prepare for the competition, coaches attended dedicated training sessions in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, equipping them to lead students through the technical and collaborative aspects of the League.
Now in its fourth year, the Unified Robotics League continues to grow as a flagship program under the Unified Schools initiative, helping shape a more inclusive educational and professional future for youth across the UAE.
