Team Falcon secures 8th place among 32 schools in an impressive display of talent and teamwork
Recently, the British International School Abu Dhabi’s Team Falcon competed in the BSME Swimming Championship 2024 at the Hamdan Aquatic Centre in Dubai.
The team secured an impressive 8th place out of 32 schools, showcasing their dedication and hard work.
Despite the long 18-hour day, each member of Team Falcon demonstrated exemplary behaviour, attitude, and support for one another. This camaraderie and perseverance are truly commendable.

Notable achievements include Stefan from Year 10 winning gold in the 200m event, and Teddy from Year 4 securing bronze in both the 50m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly.
Other highlights include Karim from Year 12 winning bronze in the 50m Breaststroke and silver in the 100m Breaststroke, and Alma from Year 8 earning bronze in the 200m Freestyle.
The boys’ medley and 200m freestyle relay team also secured a third-place finish.
