PARTNER CONTENT: NAS Abu Dhabi is once again proving its commitment to pioneering education when members of the school attended a recent educational conference which took place in Abu Dhabi.

‘Reimagining Early Childhood Education’ was the title of the conference which was given by Global Education Advisor Professor Ger Graus OBE at Majlis Mohamed bin Zayed.

This event is part of an annual series featuring expert speakers discussing a variety of trending topics. Delivered by Professor Graus, the lecture focused on making education meaningful and relevant to each child’s needs and passions.

He emphasised the role of early childhood education, the importance of play, and the concept of ‘Education from 0 to 99.’

He advocated for a personalised education system that values experience-based learning, creativity, and innovation, urging a shift from traditional academic-focused methods.

The lecture took place on Thursday, June 27 at the Majlis Venue at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and was broadcast on the national TV channel Al Emarat TV.

Executive Principal of NAS Abu Dhabi Liam Cullinan attended the event and was also featured on a promotional video which was also released, some of which was filmed at NAS Abu Dhabi.

Liam was invited as a contributor to this introductory video, showcasing NAS Abu Dhabi’s leadership in education and the importance of play in Early Years.

“These young minds are genuine problem solvers,” says Liam on the video. “They will think of solutions that we haven’t even considered.”

“What we have to give our children is a platform to use their knowledge to create change,” he continues. Liam was referring to an initiative that was launched which tasked students to come up with their own interactive video game.
