Nadine and Farida are set for a trip of a life-time as part of the Operation Smile programme
Two remarkable students from Raha International School in Abu Dhabi, Nadine and Farida, are embarking on a life-changing journey to Mae Sot, Thailand, as part of the Operation Smile surgical programme.
Alongside a local and international medical team this November, they will volunteer their time and energy, helping to bring smiles to children who need it most.
Nadine and Farida are no strangers to dedication. Over the summer, they invested their time in enhancing their skills and deepening their commitment to Operation Smile UAE.
They attended the International Student Leadership Conference and Program Training Workshop at Emory University in Atlanta, USA, where they learned invaluable lessons in leadership, empathy, and medical care.

Now, they’re ready to put that training to use; offering care and comfort to young patients and their families as they prepare for life-altering surgeries.
Guided by Kyla, their dedicated student programmes coordinator, the duo will be part of a mission that not only changes smiles but transforms lives.
But to make this mission possible, Nadine, Farida, and Kyla need to raise AED 30,000 to cover flights, programme fees, and essential patient needs.
Every contribution helps bring them closer to their goal; and brings children in need one step closer to a new smile.
