It’s been a massive year for British School Al Khubairat, one of Abu Dhabi’s oldest schools.
Having been awarded a Beyond-Outstanding rating, the school has now gone on to win the Top School Awards 2023.
Organised by Which Media, the annual awards celebrate the best of education across different categories, curriculums and beyond. This year, British School Al Khubairat managed to snag awards in five major categories, cementing its position as one of the leading schools in town.

Established in 1968, the school won five categories, including best principal, which was shared by its head teacher Mark Leppard and Dr Saima Rana, principal of Gems World Academy Dubai.
The awards have come to be a marker of how the country’s best schools, educators, school leadership – and children, together, shine a powerful, deeply moving, light on some of the very best education systems in the world.
