Etihad Airways is making it easier for Hajj travellers flying out of Abu Dhabi International Airport with new flights to key Saudi destinations.
Abu Dhabi travellers during the Hajj (Islamic pilgrimage) season now have more flexible options as the UAE’s national carrier announced 10 new flights from the UAE capital to different cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
With passenger traffic between the UAE and Saudi Arabia poised to surge during Hajj in the final week of June, Etihad Airways said in a statement to the local media it will increase the number of flights to 21 for its Jeddah route, and 22 for its Dammam route during the summer.
This will increase the airline’s flights between the two countries from 54 to 64 per week.
