Whether it’s the bakery where the smell of fresh bread is a morning ritual, the tailor who’s stitched up your finest suits, or the family-run cafe that serves nostalgia with every cup of tea, now’s the time to give these places their well-deserved moment in the sun.

Any Abu Dhabi business that’s been around for 20 years or more – from sweet shops to jewelers, perfumeries to pharmacies – is up for nomination.

The best part? The public gets to decide! Nominations are open until 10 November, so if your go-to spot has been serving the city for decades, make sure you give them a nod.

The 15 chosen winners, after a six-month evaluation, will be honored at next year’s Urban Treasures Awards. This annual celebration is a testament to the places that make Abu Dhabi the eclectic, vibrant city it is today.

And what’s in it for them? Along with eternal bragging rights, the winners will get branded promotional kits to proudly display their ‘Urban Treasure’ status to the world.

Got a spot that’s a treasure trove of memories? Nominate it now and let’s keep the heritage shining bright!
