The 10th Traditional Handicrafts Festival is back at Al Ain’s Souq Al Qattara from 29 October to 17 November 2024!
Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this family-friendly festival is your chance to dive into a world of Emirati craftsmanship.
Expect a rich lineup of workshops, hands-on activities, and captivating performances that celebrate the skill and artistry of local artisans.
The festival also brings a traditional market with everything from unique handicrafts to delicious Emirati cuisine, making it the perfect cultural day out.

Join Emirati artisans as they demonstrate timeless crafts like Al-Sadu weaving, Talli, and pottery.
Morning sessions are open for students, with evening hours dedicated to the public for an authentic Emirati experience to remember.
