Beyond technical training, it aims to instill pride in UAE heritage and identity, encouraging young artists to explore and express the nation’s rich traditions through contemporary art forms.
Students receive expert guidance throughout the year via dedicated training sessions at renowned cultural centres including Marsam Al Hor, the Cultural Foundation’s Children’s Art Centre, the Art Studio at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Bait Al Oud, and Al Qattara Arts Centre.
In addition to the annual showcase, Mawhibaty has provided students with international exposure, with participants having previously exhibited at Expo 2020, Middle East Film and Comic Con, and the Jewels Festival in New York.
The 2024 edition saw close to 600 participants across both visual and performing arts, further cementing the programme’s role as a cornerstone of youth cultural development in Abu Dhabi.
This year’s exhibition promises an inspiring experience for art lovers, educators, families, and anyone interested in the future of the UAE’s creative landscape.
