Celebrate UAE National Day with a lineup of poets, spoken word artists, musicians, and storytellers from diverse backgrounds coming together to explore their heritages and cultures for the 10th annual Hekayah | The Story.

On Thursday, 28 November, 2024 at 7.30 pm, Hekayah | The Story returns to The Black Box, celebrating the vibrant diversity that defines the UAE.

This annual gathering brings together poets, singers, and musicians from various backgrounds to share their unique voices and talents, reflecting the country’s multicultural spirit.

Through powerful performances, each artist offers a piece of their own story, creating a mosaic of experiences that embody the UAE’s harmonious blend of traditions and modernity.

Audiences can expect an inspiring showcase of spoken word, live music, and captivating performances, each celebrating the strength in unity and the beauty in diversity.

Hosted by The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi, this night promises an evening where art transcends boundaries, providing a space for community connection and creative expression.

The evening also features the NYUAD Night Souk – 40 retail vendors offering locally made artisan products, including handmade soaps, candles, local artwork, jewelry, home décor, pottery and many more, and a food station including Royal Catering – Arabic Street Food, Lingua Coffee – Specialty Coffee, and Pop City – Healthy Popsicles.

Join in for a night that captures the heart and soul of the UAE through its many voices.
