This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore intersectionality in art, as Doe unveils a captivating collection of paintings, sculptures, and installations inspired by her bicultural Chinese American upbringing.
Susan Doe, a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene, masterfully blends cultural influences in Entwined, creating art that is both unexpected and thought-provoking.
Her work challenges perceptions by playing with illusions of materiality—metal threads appear soft, while intricately woven paper mimics the form of solid sculptures.
