The 12th edition calls for nominations from across the UAE and launches outreach campaign ‘Goodness in Motion’
The Abu Dhabi Awards has launched its 12th edition, coinciding with the UAE’s Year of Community and marking 20 years since the initiative was founded in 2005.
Established to recognise individuals who have made selfless contributions to the UAE community, the Awards have honoured 100 recipients from 18 nationalities.
These people are celebrating acts of goodness across areas such as healthcare, culture, environment, volunteerism, and supporting People of Determination.
Nominations are now open year-round and can be submitted via the official Abu Dhabi Awards website.
Citizens, residents, and even non-residents are encouraged to nominate individuals who have made meaningful contributions; regardless of their field or background.

As part of this milestone edition, the ‘Goodness in Motion’ campaign will tour malls, schools, and construction sites across the UAE, raising awareness and encouraging public participation.
The campaign includes workshops, giveaways, and family activities that aim to promote kindness, community spirit, and recognition of unsung heroes.
Mahra Al Shamsi, from the Abu Dhabi Awards Organising Committee, said: “This edition marks two decades of honouring those who have quietly served our community with selflessness and dedication. We encourage everyone to take part and help shine a light on the stories of goodness that inspire us all.”
