Gamers, you read that right!
Abu Dhabi is all set to make history, with one of the emirate’s islands to host the world’s first ‘eSports Island’. Estimated to be developed with an investment of more than USD 280 million, the venture is being led by none other than True Gamers, the leading international network of eSports clubs.
Set to be a global hub for gamers, the island will feature a luxurious hotel with a unique concept – with check-in by parachuting down from a plane in the style of PUBG. Talk about immersive experiences.
According to reports by The National, a possible location for the new eSports island in Abu Dhabi will be between the Al Bandar and Al Dana developments in Al Raha Beach.
